Breakfast at the farmhouse and transfer to Otranto for a guided tour of the medieval city with its imposing walls and towering Romanesque cathedral with world-famous mosaic works. After the city tour, transfer to Punta Palascia, the easternmost point in Italy, for a wine tasting with a selection of local products by a captivating lighthouse erected in 1867. In the afternoon, a tour of Galatina – a city known for the picturesque church of San Paolo, where legend holds tarantism (a presumed psychological illness in the 15th–17th centuries resulting in a compulsion to dance) could be cured by healing water drawn from the indoor well. Visit to a winery with complimentary wine tasting, followed by dinner at a local restaurant in Sanarica.
