Visit to a heritage oil mill with a sampling of locally produced extra virgin olive oil. Lunch at a traditional farmhouse restaurant and then transfer to Manduria, a stronghold of the Messapians during the classical age and the production site of the superb Primitivo di Manduria. Visit to a winery and a tasting of Primitivo di Manduria, then transfer to Oria, a small town towered by the Swabian Castle and a splendid 18th-century cathedral, followed by a tour of the village of Erchie and the famous sanctuary dedicated to Saint Lucia.
